We had a wonderful time in the Villa Svevo. The views are outstanding from the mountains in beautiful Positano. Monica was fantastic to work with. She made us feel welcome and was very helpful with getting us groceries delivered and arranging car service to visit Amalfi and Ravello. Regarding the villa it was very spacious and had many amenities. It’s a beautiful very spacious villa with a perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful week there and we would highly recommend it. The views will forever be etched in our minds it was absolutely stunning every day to wake up to the sea view.

We had the most wonderful stay in Villa Svevo! From the moment we arrived at the villa we knew it was special! Monica was very lovely and welcoming. She was very accommodating arranging for our luggage to be taken to the villa ahead of our check-in and also kindly allowing us to check in earlier than expected! The contact with Monica via WhatsApp was excellent ahead of our arrival and throughout our stay.

We absolutely loved the villa! The rooms, (the bedroom aircon!) the decor, the ambience, the extensive outdoor areas, the views.....and the amazing pool!! We felt we had the best accomodation in Positano! Our holiday was perfect in this beautiful villa.

As far as Villa Svevo, we knew what to expect there but it was much better than the last time we were there. The reason for that was Monica. It is obvious she takes great pride in her work and she added a lot of personal touches that made our stay enjoyable. She had been managing the Villa for only 2 months so I am sure she will make it better the longer she stays. We are hoping she stays a long time.
This Villa is not modern but we love it and are very comfortable there. We are even thinking about spending 2 or 3 weeks there next year again.

Beautiful view! It was so nice having a pool and there was plenty of outdoor space. Location was great, excellent restaurants and the beach in walking distance. The home easily fit our family of 6 adults and an infant. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Your communication prior to coming to Positano helped us navigate our journey and made it easy to get to the Villa. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Svevo. The villa is very well equipped and a charming location for a peaceful break. Although we were only two, I feel it was a great space for a larger group. The view from the pool or any terrace was excellent and the location was very private.
Monica, our hostess , was very attentive and her help with transport and porters was much appreciated.

The Villa Svevo was beautiful and matched the pictures on the site. My group of six had enough room to spread out. Having the pool was a real plus because there are a lot of stairs and the beach is rocky (definitely need beach shoes). The Villa's furniture has not been updated but it added to the charm. There are wonderful views from every level. There are a lot of stairs in Positano and the Villa is no exception. From the drop off point to the Villa is over 100 steps going down. Do yourself a favor and pay for the porter service. It is worth every penny. We did not upon arrival and had to carry about 9 bags but luckily we had 4 teenagers. I cannot say enough about the place but House Manager was the best. She had several food items ready upon our arrival and gave local recommendations. I cannot recommend this Villa enough for your next Positano vacation. You will not be disappointed.

Our time at the Villa was absolutely incredible. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience. Communication was proactive, flexible and clear. House Manager met us and walked us to the Villa. She had an assortment of snacks, Prosecco and breakfast foods to welcome us. The Villa was absolutely incredible. Views were spectacular, the pictures don’t do it justice. Each room was sizable, comfortable and felt very historic Italian. House Manager would come and clean every other day. She was also excellent at communication. She also offered to cook us breakfast. The pool was perfect overlooking the sea. We had an incredible time. The villa was also very walkable to many restaurants and shops. It was just perfect.

This is a very spacious house In a stunning setting. Beautiful views and a gorgeous pool area and terrace. We were delighted with the family feel of the villa - quality furniture. Beds are super comfortable. It’s perfect to be so - for Positano - close to the beach. And great restaurants in easy walking distance. We’d love to return.

We had the most wonderful family holiday at Villa Svevo with my 2 daughters and their partners! The Villa itself is full of character & is very spacious , set over 3 floors and another lower level where the pool area is. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, the kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area comfortable & cool. There are so many seating areas to relax.

The views from all levels are breathtaking, we loved to watch all the activity of the boats in the bay. Having our own infinity pool was such a luxury in a town where space is limited, we thoroughly enjoyed swimming & splashing about every day!

Positano is a very pretty town with many shops & restaurants, there are LOTS of steps.
Luisa our host was very helpful with any questions & booking taxis. The local food store was brilliant for fresh produce, you can visit or phone your order through and they will deliver to the Villa (they even gave us a lift back in van too one day)!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, a magical family holiday !

Absolutely amazing views from every level! Floating in the pool watching the boats and beach was our favorite! House was beautiful inside and out.. we never wanted to leave! As others have said… be prepared for stairs, both in the house and outside wherever you go.

Villa Svevo is a wonderful place to spend time in Positano. There are 3 ensuite bedrooms, important for us as we are three couples. There are wonderful balconies on each floor-but we spent most of our time on the main floor balcony-especially in mid afternoon for a wine and snacks break.
The infinity pool overlooks the mediterranean ocean and when you are lying down on one of the lounges, it seems that you are in the middle of that ocean. There are quite a number of steps from the villa to the main street, but luckily, there is a hotel about 1/2 way up which serves a buffet breakfast even to people who are not registered at the hotel. The food is fantastic and the price is 15 euros per person-which includes more than one cappuccino or caffe or your preference should you choose.
This villa is close to almost everything-which does not mean there are no steps. In fact, if you are offered porters for your luggage, I do not recommend that you turn that down. It is 15 euros per bag but well worth it unless you are very athletic.
We bought a bus pass (15 euros seems to be the going price for everything) which could be used for up to 24 hours and takes you all along the Amalfi coast. We stopped in Amalfi and had a nice "snack" and went all the way to Ravello for a wonderful lunch at the Cantina.
The ferries are not too far from the villa, check the time for departures and give enough time to get there as you may be tempted to browse in the wonderful shops.

I cannot say enough about Villa Svevo! I have been renting villas in Positano for the past 10 years, mostly with Villa In Italia, and this is the BEST place I have stayed.
To begin, your booking of the porters made it so easy to arrive at the house. If you haven't seen it in person, the house is magnificent! The photos of the house that you have online do not show the real picture of the house. It is so wonderful and was so perfect for the 3 of us. I'm sure it would be fine with 6 people, but we enjoyed it with only 3 people.
The house manager is wonderful. He was very helpful and informative. And very nice when I called him during the stay.
The view from the house is beautiful, it is quiet, very comfortable, elegant yet relaxed. I cannot say enough about it.
Positano is my favorite place in Italy: the people are very nice, and now I know so many locals there who make me feel at home.

This villa was perfect for our group. It is very spacious and having the pool and view of the city and out on the sea was amazing! The location was great and nice to be up the hill sways from the heart of Positano. Lots of great shops and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend staying here. There are a lot of stairs to get to and from the Villa, but you get use to it after a few days.

Villa Svevo is a truly unique property. Perched above Fornillo beach with multiple expansive decks overlooking the sea, there is nothing else quite like it. Be prepared for a journey from the center of town, whether by the road or the beautiful…and steep…beach path. And be prepared as well for a classic Italian beach villa, seemingly suspended in a time long past. What you can’t possibly prepare for is the experience of sipping your morning coffee overlooking the Mediterranean, basking in the Italian sun from your own private infinity pool, or laughing over a glass of wine as the sun sets over Positano. Though not a place for everyone, it is a place, once experienced, that you’ll never forget.

The villa is utterly divine! We had the best time with two kids and my father. The view is incredible and the pool is gorgeous. We'd definitely come back! So so wonderful! Snap up this gem if you get the chance !

Great location and plenty of space for 6 people (3 couples) - very comfortable living for 6 nights.
The view is spectacular and it is great to have a bathroom for each room. The pool is beautiful and clean. The outdoor terraces are amazing.
The location is great - not a long walk to the main part of town. All the rooms are spacious and clean. Air conditioning in each bedroom.
Cleaning staff came in every day.
The villa Svevo is close to great restaurants and shopping. Furthest reaches of town were only about a 15-20 minute walk. Great access in port to inexpensive water taxisferries to travel to Capri, Amalfi. Bus service ran to surrounding towns - very inexpensive Visited Ravello - stunning little town.
We ate a La Sponda - Michelin Star - exceptional service and food - very, very expensive. Favorite restaurant was Caffe Positano - at least 3 meals there - fantastic view from the patio.
C'era una Volta for Pizza - very reasonable and great pizza!
Not too far to anything, just lots of stairs. Bring good walking shoes - forego the heels - lots and lots of stairs no matter where you go.

We have received great directions to the villa. We parked in the Milano Parking garage (pre-arranged). We were driving a large van which proved pretty difficult - nerves were frayed.
We suggest to hire porters to carry your bags - 15 euros a bag but totally worth it. We used our phones as GPS - worked
very well.

Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.

The villa easily accommodated the 5 of us. It is a perfect location in the old town of Positano. An abundance of restaurants nearby and a nice walk into Positano itself. Wonderful views! The villa enabled everyone to have their own space with lovely, spacious, social spaces and plenty of seating. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a big plus too! Warning! There are a-lot of steps both down to the villa and when out and about! The suitcase porters were a life saver!

Positano is one of our favorite places in Italy - and this summer it was as beautiful as ever.
We enjoyed a number of good restaurants in Positano, especially the spots that are located “uptown” all serve great food - the big restaurants located on the beach can't keep up, but they still have a wonderful view.

Villa Svevo was even more spectacular in real life, the photos can’t really do it justice.
The villa is absolutely beautiful, all the bedrooms are light and airy, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are very nice - especially the one with a sea view:-)
The numerous terraces offer you the perfect place to stay outdoors, at any time of the day, and the pool area is fantastic.
The view is impossible to describe - it’s really really beautiful.
And last, but not least, the absolutely lovely person who took care of the villa - and us - every day. She made our stay even better.
She was so helpful with everything and her English is very very good, which was lucky for a couple of stupid Danes who don't speak any Italian.

I guess you know by now that we loved our stay in Villa Svevo, and we hope to come back one fine day.

We are back home, trying to settle in... It's never easy going back after a lovely holidays!
I wanted to thank you for all your help with our Positano stay and the transfers. You have been so professional which made the booking easy and stay in the villa great! We absolutely loved villa SVEVO! It is a beautiful villa, generous in space and the views are stunning. The pool is much bigger than the photos indicated, so that was a great surprise too. All the transfers worked very well too.
My wife met the house manager, I didn't. But he was very helpful on text messages when we communicated. We met the lady for the maid service every morning and she is wonderful!
I am not sure what our plans are for the near future, but we'd love to be back to the villa at some point soon. It gave us the most wonderful memories and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

We were very happy with your assistance, the villa itself, the town of Positano and the hosting.
The villa was clean and nice, pool area was especially beautiful -- view just like in the photos.
The temperature was cool indoors, WiFi worked very well and the keys/safes made it secure.
Perfect size for our group of 5 - could also work for 6 or for 4.
The house manager did an amazing job being on time to meet us, having people to help with the bags and referring us to restaurants and boat operators in the area. He also cooked us a beautiful meal in the villa on our last night.
The town is very pretty and unique - with beautiful views because of the cliff side construction. The best place to stay on the coast (easy to get to Capri, Amalfi, Pompeii etc). We really enjoyed taking the boats both private boat and water taxis.
We really loved our stay at Villa Svevo.
The villa is perfect for people who are couples, or families with older kids.

I would say that Villa Svevo is really very nice, in a spectacular position, and quite good value for Positano.
I would add that your organisational processes work well and that House Manager was most helpful during our stay.

My husband and 2 adult children with their friends had an amazing stay in this Villa. There was plenty of room for everyone. The view is more than you can imagine from the infinity pool. Antonella answered all of our crazy questions and helped us all navigate Positano to its fullest! She is absolutely darling. She even gave her personal cell to all of the kids. She was able to connect them to all the young Italians and they made amazing memories. We all highly recommend this Villa and Antonella!!!

Our stay in Villa Svevo was splendid! It took a day or so to get used to all the steps getting to and from the villa, but once we got the hang of it, it was actually not bad! My kids thought of it like a maze!
And that pool all to ourselves with an amazing view was simply divine!!! The rooms were all pretty big and comfortable!
Overall our stay was good and my kids thought that Positano is the highlight of our Italy trip.
The house managers were great and helpful!!
